Alaa Abdou graduated from the High Institute for Arabic Music with an Excellent with Honors degree in theories, composition, and orchestral conducting. Following her graduation, Alaa worked as a lecturer of Western music and theories at the High Institute for Arabic Music for a year from Sep 2013 to May 2014. She also served as a choir member in the Cairo Opera Choir for four years, from 2010 to 2014. Since November 2014, Alaa has been working at the Ministry of Education in Bahrain. In addition to her teaching role, she is the ChoirMaster at the Bahrain Student Orchestra. During a period from February 2022 to June 2022, Alaa worked on curriculum management, specifically as a curriculum rewriter. Alaa Abdou is a professional pop and Arabic singer, an operatic soloist, and she has composed several national songs for Bahrain between November 2014 and June 202
